Half-a-million dollar win too good to be true for Geelong woman!

For many TattsLotto players, receiving a phone call on Monday morning to tell them they have won just over half-a-million dollars would be a dream come true but for one Geelong woman it was too unreal to believe.
The sceptical woman didn’t believe she was speaking with a TattsLotto official at first, and only after checking her ticket at Bellarine Village Lotto, where she purchased her Marked System 8, did she accept the life-changing news.
The disbelieving winner won the division one prize of $496,656.01 as well as addition divisional prizes totalling, $549,920.71 in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3753 on 8 July 2017.
Tatts spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said from time to time some winners find it hard to believe their dream of winning division one in TattsLotto has come true.
“Most of the time there’s always a bit of disbelief. People can’t believe it’s happened to them and they are trying to process it,” Ms Spencer explained.
“We often reassure these winners that the ticket they are holding is the winning ticket and their dream has come true!”
Unfortunately, we will never know how the woman from Geelong plans to spend her TattsLotto windfall as she has chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winner purchased her winning System 8 marked entry from Bellarine Village Lotto, Shop 12, Bellarine Village, Bellarine Highway, Newcomb 3219.
Ben Kelberg, owner of the Bellarine Village Lotto, said that the team were extremely excited to have sold their third division one prize this year.
“This year alone we’ve sold a division one prize in Saturday TattsLotto and a division one prize in Super 66!
“We are so pleased to have sold a third winning entry and extremely happy it has been sold to a local.
“We wish the winner all the best with their prize!”
The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3753 on Saturday 8 July 2017 were 24, 11, 22, 26, 33 and 18.  The supplementary numbers were 28 and 19.
Across Australia, there were 8 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3753, including two in Queensland, two in Victoria, one in New South Wales, one in South Australia, and two in Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 201 so far this calendar year, including 65 won by TattsLotto customers.
