North-West Melbourne syndicate scores $615,966.64 in The Pools

A three-share Melbourne syndicate is celebrating more than a winning football team this week after discovering their entry was the only one nationally to score the division one prize of $607,301.14 in The Pools.

The players, who wish to remain completely anonymous, purchased their syndicate shares from Delahey Village Lotto, Kiosk 6-7, Delahey Village Shopping Centre, 260 Taylors Road, Delahey.


One of the happy syndicate members said: “I play regularly, but rarely The Pools. I just had a feeling about this one”.


In addition to division one, the syndicate won $8,665.50 in other divisional prizes, bringing the syndicate’s total prize in The Pools draw 1665 on Saturday 24 June 2017 to $615,966.64. 


Each of the three division one winning syndicateshares is worth $205,322.21. 


Delahey Village Lotto owner Yomikumar Shah was thrilled to learn of the syndicate’s win. 


“That’s very exciting news!” he exclaimed. 


“We’ve been waiting for a division one win!” 


The Pools is a Tatts game where six numbers are drawn from 38 based on the results of local and international soccer matches.


The six winning numbers in The Pools draw 1665 on Saturday 24 June 2017 were 36, 33, 23, 17, 13 and 3, with supplementary number 1.


The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 405 so far this financial year, including 160 won by Tatts customers.
