Disbelieving Cheltenham TattsLotto player $1.3 million richer

A regular TattsLotto player from south-east Melbourne was in utter disbelief this morning when he learned he’d won more than $1.3 million in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.
“Are you having me on?” the winner asked.
“I’m in shock. This is wonderful news! I can’t wait to tell my family!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, buys two 12-game entries every week using the same numbers he’s been playing for years.
He was one of three winners Australia-wide who each won $1,376,814.83 in TattsLotto draw 3747 on Saturday 17 June 2017.
The retired Melbourne winner plans to share his division one prize with his family.
“I’ll definitely use the money to help my family. They are so good to me; it will be nice to do something special for them.
“I’ll also donate to charity — there’s a cause that’s very close to my heart.”
The division one winning ticket was purchased from Southland Lotteries, Shop K318, Westfield Southland, 1239 Nepean Highway, Cheltenham.
Southland Lotteries manager Sonia Harris said she was over the moon to have sold another division one winner!
Southland Lotteries last sold a division one winning TattsLotto entry in April 2016 with a prize of $1.08 million. One of the store’s syndicates also scored a $31 million Powerball prize in May 2013.
“We’ve sold dozens of winning tickets during the past 30 years. It’s great to have another one to add to the list!
“Customers have been asking us when we were going to sell the next big winner, and here we are! One of our customers is now $1.3 million richer!
“I’m so glad it’s gone to one of our regulars. I’m really wrapped.”
The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3747 on Saturday 17 June 2017 were 33, 25, 5, 34, 30 and 19. The supplementary numbers were 2 and 1.
Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3747 – two in Victoria and one in Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 388 so far this financial year, including 153 won by Tatts customers.
