Third major Australian jackpot in five weeks: tomorrow's Powerball prize hits $30 million!

With tomorrow night’s Powerball draw jackpotting to an incredible $30 million, Australians have begun lining up for their entry in the draw.

At $30 million, it’s the third major Australian lotto jackpot in less than five weeks to offer tens of millions of dollars.  It follows hot on the heels of two recent major jackpots that were both won by single winners.

On 11 May, a battling Western Sydney family man won the entire $50 million Powerball jackpot, while on 30 May, a young Cairns mother took home the entire $40 million Oz Lotto jackpot.

The $30 million Powerball jackpot draw will take place on Thursday 15 June 2017. If there are no division one winners from the draw, the prize will jackpot again to an out-of-this-world $50 million for next week’s draw!

Golden Casket spokesperson Matt Hart said winning tomorrow’s $30 million Powerball jackpot – the fourth largest Australian jackpot this year – could be truly life-changing.

“As Australia’s biggest jackpotting game, Powerball is the ticket to an extraordinary life. Imagine what you could do with $30 million!” he said.

“For our two recent big jackpot winners, the tens of millions of dollars may have just landed into their bank accounts, but already they have some big plans for transforming their lives.

“Our recent Powerball winner from Sydney wants to share his $50 million windfall with family, friends and his community. The family man is looking to open a restaurant to help those in need.

“For the young mother from Cairns, the $40 million division one win will make her family’s dream home a reality. It also means her husband won’t have to work long hours anymore and they’ll be able to spend more time as a family with the kids.

“Past division one winners have done everything from paying off their mortgage and retiring early, through to helping their loved ones and travelling the world. If you won Powerball’s $30 million division one prize, what would you do?”

While every number has an equal chance of being drawn on the night, Mr Hart said Australians had been busy exploring ways to improve their chances of winning tomorrow night.

“From using lucky numbers and PowerHit entries, through to system games and syndicates, Australian adults play Powerball in their own unique way,” he said.

“Lotto is a random game of chance, but to be in with a chance you do need to have an entry!”

Tickets can be purchased from Golden Casket outlets and online from theLott.com – Australia’s official online lotteries.

Golden Casket recommends players register their tickets to a Winners Circle Card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

So far this financial year, the Lott has awarded 384 division one prizes, including 97 to Golden Casket customers.
