$200,000 Lucky Lotteries win lands in Greta

A Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot player who purchased their winning entry from Greta Newsagency, 92 High Street, Greta, is set to celebrate their $200,000 windfall as soon as they receive official confirmation from NSW Lotteries of the exciting news.
The winning entry is registered so there is no mystery about who is holding the winning ticket, but just how they will celebrate and use their windfall is yet to be revealed!
The Greta Newsagency winning entry is the latest in a spate of Lucky Lotteries wins across the Hunter region.  Last week, two different women from the Hunter region each won the $100,000 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said he hoped to speak to the region’s latest winner as soon as possible and confirm their life-changing news.
“Thankfully there’s no question about who the winner is because they registered their ticket to their Players Club card when they purchased it,” he said.
“I imagine it would be an extra nice surprise to receive official confirmation you’d won the top prize of $200,000!”
Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1056 was drawn on 4 May 2017 offering a guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000.
Greta Newsagency owner David Taylor said the outlet was celebrating selling a winning entry.
“We actually sold two 1st Prize winning tickets a fortnight apart in 2013 so hopefully the winning run is back!” he said.
“It’s funny as a customer was only looking at our winning plaques last week and said we were due to get another win soon.  And we have!
“I’m not sure what makes us lucky – perhaps it’s because we’ve been here 38 years!”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.44 million for draw 1057, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $500,000 for draw 10158.
