$100,000 Lucky Lotteries win adds extra bite to Newport man's lunchbreak!

Forget the soggy sandwich or cup-a-soup, a man from the Newport region has enjoyed an extra bite to his lunchbreak after discovering he won the $100,000 1st Prize in a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
Making the win especially sweet is the fact that the man won the $100,000 1st Prize on a free entry he won from a previous Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
Speaking to a NSW Lotteries official yesterday to confirm his prize, the man admitted he was a regular Lucky Lotteries player and had been chasing the climbing multi-million dollar jackpot.
As it hasn’t been won in recent draws, the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize has now climbed to $7.65 million for draw 10147, schedule to be drawn tomorrow.
Despite missing out on the jackpot, the man said he was overjoyed at discovering his $100,000 win during his lunchbreak.
“Thank you!  That’s great!” the winner exclaimed.
“Like everybody, I’ve been trying to win the jackpot!
“It’s a bonus that it’s come from a free ticket I won from another draw!”
The happy winner said the windfall had come at a great time and would help pay off some household debts.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10145, drawn on 3 April 2017, offered a guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot entry at Newport Newsagency, 359 Barrenjoey Road, Newport.
Newport Newsagency owner Nan Zhang said the outlet was celebrating selling its first Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot winning ticket since she took ownership of the store almost two years ago.
“It’s great news that one of our customers has one!  What a great surprise!” she exclaimed.
“That’s our first Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win, but we did recently sell the top prize on a $2 Instant Scratch-Its.  Hopefully it’s the start of more to come for our customers!”
