Saturday Gold Lotto win lands in Cooroy!

A Saturday Gold Lotto division one win has landed in Cooroy, prompting celebrations at Cooroy Newsagency where the winning entry was sold.
The Cooroy entry was one of 15 division one winners nationally, and one of four in Queensland, in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3731 on 22 April 2017.  Each won a division one prize of $271,775.57.
The entry was registered to a local customer and Golden Casket is currently liaising with them to confirm their win.
The winning entry was purchased from Cooroy Newsagency, 28 Maple Street, Cooroy.
Cooroy Newsagency owner Laurie Kendall said it was the first time the outlet had sold a division one winning entry since he and his wife Janelle bought the store in 2004.
“It’s really exciting and about time!  We’ve come close a few times with several division two wins.
“Everyone’s talking about the win.  People come in and want to know who it is!
“I’ve got a funny feeling that we’ll have another division one winner soon.  When the luck is with you, you just know!”
The six winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3731 on Saturday 22 April 2017 were 30, 13, 11, 18, 24 and 21.  The supplementary numbers were 15 and 27.
Meanwhile, Golden Casket officials are patiently waiting for a Sunshine Coast resident or visitor who bought the sole winning entry in a Monday Gold Lotto draw four months ago to come forward and claim their million-dollar prize.
Golden Casket urges customers to check any unregistered tickets they bought from Cotton Tree News, 1/9 King Street, Maroochydore, in December last year.
Maroochydore’s unclaimed $1 million prize was won from Monday Gold Lotto draw 3618, which was drawn just before Christmas on Monday 19 December 2016 and revealed the winning numbers: 4, 10, 6, 33, 11 and 38.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 336 so far this financial year, including 82 won by Golden Casket customers.
