Hardworking Yagoona man celebrates Saturday Lotto win!

A hardworking Yagoona man is celebrating after discovering the dream-come-true news that he won division one in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto.
The man was one of 15 division one winners nationally, and one of three in New South Wales, in Saturday Lotto draw 3731 on 22 April 2017.  Each won a division one prize of $271,775.57.
Speaking to a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the winner explained that he realised he had won after seeing the winning numbers on display instore.
“I saw they’d put the numbers on the board at the store.  Then I remembered I have my numbers.  That’s when I got a big surprise!” he exclaimed.
“It’s amazing!  I can’t believe it.
“I just picked those numbers.  I’ve been playing those numbers for three years!”
The winner plans to use his windfall to pay off his mortgage.
“It’s going to help me for sure!  It will be a big relief!” he said.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry from Sam’s Superstore & Café, 271A The River Road, Revesby Heights.
Sam’s Superstore & Cafe owner Houssam Saleh said the outlet was celebrating selling its first division one entry under the current ownership.
“It’s very exciting to have our first division one win since we took over the business in 2014,” he said.
“Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come and there’s lots more wins for our customers.
“Congratulations to the winner!   We wish them all the very best with their prize!”
The six winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3731 on Saturday 22 April 2017 were 30, 13, 11, 18, 24 and 21.  The supplementary numbers were 15 and 27.
