The regular player said planned to use her windfall to retire early and help her family.

“I’ve got family members I want to help and I look forward to breaking the news to them – not that they’re going to get all of it!” she joked.

“I might retire early too.  Travel is also certainly on the cards.  I might go travelling and keep going until Christmas!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 24-game QuickPick from Thistle Kiosk, Westfield Woden, 1 Keltie Street, Woden.

Thistle Kiosk owner Tania Dezman said the outlet was celebrating selling another division one winning entry.

“We’re a very lucky store!  We’ve had a number of division one wins in recent years!” she exclaimed.

“We’ve been busy all morning as customers come in to check their tickets to see if they’re the ones who won Oz Lotto.

“Congratulations to the winner!  We hope they enjoy their prize!”
