Where is Wendouree's TattsLotto winner?

Someone who purchased an entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw in Wendouree has won a division one prize worth more than half-a-million dollars, but their whereabouts is still unknown!

There’s got to be somebody out there who is holding the division one winning TattsLotto ticket purchased in Wendouree, a suburb on the fringe of Ballarat, but they could still be walking around completely unaware of their good fortune.

The mystery winner purchased their division one winning TattsLotto ticket from Wendouree Village Lotto, Kiosk 4 in the Wendouree Village Shopping Centre on the corner of Norman Street and Gillies Street, Wendouree.

Tatts spokesperson Claire Taylor said because the division one winning TattsLotto ticket was not registered to a Tatts Card at the time of purchase there was no way of contacting the winner with the dream-come-true division one winning news.

“It’s time for Wendouree shoppers to dig deep in their pockets and dive through their handbags for any forgotten TattsLotto tickets. You may just find you are the holder of the first division winning ticket!” Ms Taylor exclaimed.

“Players tend to be creatures of habit, only checking their last entry when they come in to buy their next one, however a division one prize on the loose should be a good incentive to break from the normal routine.

“That’s why we’re encouraging all TattsLotto players in Wendouree not to waste any time with wishful thinking and instead check their tickets as soon as possible to find out if it’s the division one winning entry worth more than $519,000.

“Just imagine how a prize worth more than half-a-million dollars could change someone’s life!

“So check your TattsLotto tickets as soon as possible because you could be the mystery missing winner we are searching for!

“If you think you may have the division one winning entry, we recommend you keep your ticket in a safe place and contact Tatts immediately on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process!”

Miff Yeoman is the owner of Wendouree Village Lotto and is delighted to add to her store’s division one winning tally.

“Isn’t it great! In March 2016 this store sold a division one winning ticket worth $1.38 million so it’s great to now have two within one year!” Ms Yeoman exclaimed.

“We’re the new owners of this store for the past eight months and so this is the first division one win for us at the helm.

“It’s very exciting and no doubt it will be good fun waiting to see who might come in and check the winning ticket!

“We already can’t wait for our next division one winner now so hopefully this is only the beginning of a winning streak.”

Tatts reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Tatts Card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

There were eight division one winners nationally that each won the first division prize of $519,011.07 in TattsLotto draw 3717 on Saturday 4 March.
