Reservoir made a millionaire on Broadway!

Reservoir has a new millionaire in its midst after Monday Lotto’s draw delivered a division one prize of a cool $1 million to the northern Melbourne suburb.
Despite the winner registering their winning ticket to a Tatts Card, officials still had a hard time tracking them down most of the day, and were only able to confirm the dream-come-true news yesterday evening.
The long-awaited confirmation was a big relief to the winner, who wishes to keep their identity a secret as they claim their $1 million windfall in private.
The mysterious new millionaire purchased the winning System 8 marked entry from Broadway Lotto, 238 Broadway in Reservoir.
It’s not the first time the store has seen a seven figure windfall blow in.
Five years ago in February 2012, a $1.176 million prize was won in TattsLotto draw 3189 by a customer of Broadway Lotto.
Claude Ayoub is the owner of Broadway Lotto and was excited by the news that his outlet had struck division one gold again.
“Beautiful! It’s very nice news to make another customer a millionaire,” Mr Ayoub explained.
“I already have organised a sign writer to put something up out front like ‘Division one winner sold here!’ and get everyone talking.
“In 2012 we had a win in TattsLotto in February and then another Monday & Wednesday Lotto that September. So fingers crossed we have another run of wins this year!”
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3646 on Monday 27 March 2017 were 20, 3, 31, 36, 6 and 18. The supplementary numbers were 9 and 23.
Across Australia, it was the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3646, which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw.
It was twice as nice for more than 109,000 winners drawn around the country who doubled their prize money in divisions 2 to 6 in Monday night’s Double Dollars Day draw.

The Lott’s division one winning entry tally has now reached 292 so far this financial year, including 119 won by Tatts customers.
