Colac mum plans purrfect addition to family after TattsLotto $2 million win

A Colac mum is planning to make a purrfect addition to her family after coming forward to claim the TattsLotto division one prize from Saturday’s draw worth more than $2 million.
Apart from buying a new home and helping her family, the excited woman shared that she also wanted to use the windfall to welcome a new kitten into her family.
As the winning Colac ticket was unregistered, Tatts had no way to identify or contact the winner and was waiting for them to come forward with the winning ticket.
The woman was spurred to check her ticket after hearing media reports yesterday that someone in the area had won.  She contacted Tatts officials yesterday evening to confirm the “life changing” news.
“I thought it must be a mistake because I never win anything!” the woman exclaimed.
“I’ve been playing for years and have had small wins before but nothing over $100!
“It’s definitely life changing for me.  I haven’t had a lot of money before.
“We’ll be looking for a new house definitely.  It will have a big library and a spa bath I think!  But not combined as the books would get wet!” she laughed.
“I also want to get a nice new kitten!”
A family holiday to a tropical destination and “lots of shopping” were also on the cards when the windfall hit her bank account.
“I won’t be able to control myself until then!” she said.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her $2,087,007.71 division one winning TattsLotto ticket from Colac Lotto, 146 Murray Street in Colac.
Colac Lotto owner Ros Monaghan said she was thrilled the missing division one winner had been found.
“Every time one of our customers came in we were holding our breaths as they checked their TattsLotto tickets!” she exclaimed.
“Congratulations to the winner and we hope they really enjoy their prize!  It’s great to hear that another one of our customers has become a millionaire overnight!
“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in last year’s February Superdraw when our customer won a $1.17 million prize!
“Fingers crossed we can back it up and do it again in this Saturday night’s $21 Million Superdraw!”
There were two division one winners in Victoria that each won the first division prize of $2,087,007.71 in TattsLotto draw 3721 on Saturday 18 March 2017.
Along with the winning ticket sold in Colac, the other Victorian prize was won in Merlynston.
The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3721 on Saturday 18 March 2017 were 10, 43, 23, 15, 1 and 36. The supplementary numbers were 34 and 2.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 287 so far this financial year, including 115 won by Tatts customers.
