Dubbo's newest millionaire yet to claim $1.37 million Saturday Lotto win

A Dubbo resident or visitor became a millionaire on the weekend following Saturday Lotto, but has yet to discover the happy news for themselves.

NSW Lotteries is waiting for the mystery winner, who purchased a ticket at Talbragar Street Newsagency, 93-95 Talbragar Street, Dubbo, to check their ticket and come forward to claim the first division prize of $1,376,411.74.

Saturday Lotto draw 3719, on Saturday 11 March 2017, unveiled the winning numbers: 36, 39, 10, 15, 1 and 31, with the supplementary numbers 32 and 11.

The winning ticketholder is urged to contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said the division one winning ticket had not been registered to a Players Club Card so officials had no clues or contact details for the new millionaire.

He said the Dubbo million-dollar prize was one of three division one prizes won nationally from that draw, but was only one from New South Wales.

“We all know the start of a new week can be a busy time as people head back to work and their daily lives. Somewhere out there is our mystery winner who could have forgotten to check the Saturday Lotto ticket they bought,” he said.

“Imagine being a millionaire but not knowing it! It’s the type of news that could really turn your week around – especially on a Monday!

“We’re putting the call out to help track down our missing millionaire and share the happy news with them. The winning ticket may have been stashed away for safekeeping in the car, the kitchen or even the sock drawer!

“If you purchased an unregistered entry in Saturday Lotto in Dubbo, check your ticket as you could be our millionaire!”

NSW Lotteries reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Players Club Card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

The division one winning entry was purchased from Talbragar Street Newsagency, 93-95 Talbragar Street, Dubbo.

Talbragar Street Newsagency owner Peter Snare said the store was eagerly waiting for the missing millionaire to come forward and check their ticket.

“How exciting! We’d love to break the news to one of our lucky customers!” he said.

“We’ve sold a few division one winning tickets to local residents during our 33 years and we love hearing our winners’ stories!”

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 281 so far this financial year, including 80 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
