Morwell store syndicate wins $1.3 million in TattsLotto Superdraw!

There are five happy TattsLotto players in Morwell today after their syndicate entry won a total of $1,393,937.24, or $278,787.45 per share, in the weekend’s TattsLotto Superdraw! I

n another example of syndicate success, it was one of two division one winning entries in Victoria that were both syndicates and one of 15 winning entries nationally in the weekend’s $20 million Superdraw event.

The five residents were part of a store syndicate sold at Mid Valley Lotto, Kiosk 2 in the Mid Valley Shopping Centre on the Princes Highway in Morwell.

Amazingly it’s the second year in a row that Mid Valley Lotto has sold a division one winning entry in a February TattsLotto Superdraw.

Deanne Bourke is the manager at Mid Valley Lotto and said she was delighted to have created a division one winning syndicate for five lucky customers.

“Wow! Two years in a row is just fantastic!” Ms Bourke exclaimed.

“The first thing I noticed when we got the results and saw that we had sold a division one winning syndicate in the Superdraw, was that it was almost exactly this time last year that we sold our last one. It’s uncanny!

“We’ve offered this syndicate for every Superdraw event for the past few years but only recently we reduced the number of shares on offer to five.

“Most of the time the same regular customers from the local area buy a share in this syndicate, which we’ve named ‘Millionaires Club’

“Some of the winners have come in to check their tickets already and they have been over-the-moon!

“So maybe we’ll be third time lucky in the February Superdraw next year! But fingers crossed we won’t have to wait that long before our next division one win!”

In February 2016, two ladies from Morwell won $1.17 million in the Superdraw with a 50-game QuickPick entry from Mid Valley Lotto and planned to have cushier retirements, new cars and holidays with their windfall.
