$1.3 million Saturday Lotto win awaits Muswellbrook's missing millionaire

A Muswellbrook resident or visitor became a millionaire on the weekend following the Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw, but has yet to come forward to claim their prize.

NSW Lotteries has now been waiting more than three days for the mystery winner, who purchased a ticket at Southside Newsagency, to check their ticket and claim the first division prize of $1,333,333.34.

Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw (draw 3713) was drawn on Saturday 18 February 2017, unveiling the winning numbers: 28, 37, 21, 30, 25, and 33, with the supplementary numbers 36 and 3.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said the division one winning ticket had not been registered to a Players Club Card so officials had no clues or contact details for the missing winner.

He said the Muswellbrook million-dollar prize was one of two yet to be claimed from the five division one prizes won by New South Wales players in that draw.

“We all know the start of a new week can be a busy time as people head back to work and their daily lives. Somewhere out there is our mystery winner and we’re waiting to speak to them to officially confirm their win,” he said.

“We’re putting the call out to help track down the missing millionaire and help unite them with their windfall.

“If you purchased an unregistered entry in the Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw in Muswellbrook, check your ticket as you could be our millionaire!”

NSW Lotteries reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Players Club Card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

The division one winning entry was purchased from Southside Newsagency, Shop 2, 27-29 Maitland Road, Muswellbrook.

Southside Newsagency owner Pankaj Monga said the store was excited that it had sold a division one winning ticket.

“We hope our missing millionaire comes forward soon so that they can receive their prize!” he said.

“We’ve had a lot of people coming into the store to check their tickets during the past few days. If you bought a ticket, it’s worth checking and then checking again!”
