Greystanes welcomes Superdraw Lotto millionaire

A Western Sydney woman is celebrating becoming a millionaire after she won a division prize on the weekend worth $1.3 million!

She holds one of six winning tickets purchased in New South Wales, and one of 15 nationally that won a division one share in Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw on Saturday 18 February.

But just who holds the winning ticket will remain a mystery, as the Western Sydney woman has spoken to NSW Lotteries in secret to claim her Superdraw Saturday Lotto windfall!

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning 12-game QuickPick entry from Bathurst Street Newsagency, Shop 2, 41 Bathurst Street in Greystanes.

Bathurst Street Newsagency owner Daniel Marrone is ecstatic to have sold another division one winning ticket, with this one now the store’s biggest prize win.

“How exciting! It’s amazing to have been a part of making another customer a millionaire! We’re so happy!” Mr Marrone exclaimed.

“It’s surpassed our record too; in September 2015 we sold a $1 million prize in Monday Lotto, so now we’ve topped that prize amount by more than $333,000!

“The fact it was one in a Superdraw event makes it especially special. It’s one that we’ll never forget.

“Fingers crossed we can do it again soon and propel another customer to millionaire status!”
