Megadraw million lands in Eagle Vale!

A man from Sydney’s south-western suburbs has started the New Year as a millionaire after matching six numbers on his Megadraw ticket and winning division one!

The man won division one as well as additional divisional prizes totalling $1,361,216.59 thanks to his 2-game System 8 marked entry, with numbers he knew off by heart.

“I’ve been playing for 15 years, and I’ve had the same numbers in a System 8 entry for around the last 5 years – over the years you get to know your numbers pretty well,” the man explained.

“So I was watching the TV News when they read out the winning numbers and I looked and thought ‘well they look familiar!’

“It was such a surreal feeling to see my numbers come up and get six straight!

“I was so stunned, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming! What a fantastic way to start the New Year!”

The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 2-game System 8 entry from Eagle Vale Newsagency, Shop 6 Eagle Vale Marketplace, corner of Eagle Vale drive and Gould Road in Eagle Vale.

Zhi Xian, from Eagle Vale Newsagency was very excited to have sold a division one winning entry.

“This is great news and a great way to start the New Year! It will be a very happy New Year for our winning customer,” Ms Xian said.

“Congratulations to our winner! We hope this will be the start of a fantastic year for them.”
