Smithton celebrates division one TattsLotto win!

A customer of Smithton News & Lotto has won a division one prize worth more than $509,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw!

The mysterious winner who has chosen to remain completely anonymous described the news of their TattsLotto windfall as ‘gobsmacking’!

They won with an 18-game QuickPick entry purchased from Smithton News & Lotto at 49 – 51 Emmett Street in Smithton.

Rachel Keddie and Ashley Oates are the girls the customers see at Smithton News & Lotto and said they were delighted to have sold a division one winning ticket.

“We want to send a huge congratulations to our winning customer for winning division one and taking home a prize worth more than $509,000,” Rachel and Ashley shared.

“It’s been quite a while since we sold our last one so it’s brought a real buzz to the Smithton.

“It’s great news for such a small town and it’s been the talk of the area. With such excitement we hope it’s the start of more big wins to come.”

Throughout Australia, there were eight entries that won a first division prize of $509,614.77 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw on Saturday 28 January, 2017.

Along with the division one winning entry in Tasmania, there were five division one winning entries purchased in Victoria, one in Queensland and one in South Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3707 Saturday 28 January, 2017 were 19, 6, 37, 28, 10 and 40. The supplementary numbers were 33 and 8.

The weekend’s winners take the Lott’s division one winners tally to 243 so far this financial year, including 98 won by Tatts customers.
