Megadraw mightnight millionaire made in St Agnes!

A retired man from the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide started his New Year with a $1.3 million bang, becoming a millionaire on New Year’s Eve in the X Lotto Megadraw!

The shocked man was completely unaware his New Year was off to a great start when he got a phone call from SA Lotteries this morning to deliver the news he’d become a midnight millionaire!

“Goodness me!” he gasped.

“Just let me write that down again! That’s excellent news, on New Year’s Day too!

“Oh dear me! My wife’s just broken down crying with joy – she’s hysterical!

“I hadn’t even checked my numbers yet because they weren’t in the Sunday paper. I got an early edition and the results weren’t in there, so I was able to pop online.

“We only had a quiet evening last night so this has come as a hell of a surprise this morning.

“We bought this ticket at the last minute but I saw the $31 million and I had to be in it!

“We’ll take it easy, probably get a new car and we’ve actually got a holiday planned, so now we can extend it to travel further or upgrade our flights business class or even first class!”

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 50-game QuickPick entry from St Agnes Newsagency, Shops 36 and 37 in the St Agnes Shopping Centre, 1244 North East Road in St Agnes.

St Agnes Newsagency most recently sold a Keno Spot 8 winning ticket in February 2016 that won their customer a $100,000 windfall.
