“We never expected this to happen – oh we’re just so happy you can’t believe!

“What can we say, what a great way to start our New Year.

The winning couple, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their registered 12-game QuickPick entry from Ascot News, 71 Racecourse Road in Ascot.

Garry Grant is the owner of Ascot News and thrilled to have sold a division one winning entry.

“What great news for our winning customers! It’s a wonderful way to start the New Year and we wish to congratulate the couple on their win,” Mr Grant said.

“Let’s hope this is the first of many good things to happen in 2017.”
