Port Macquarie's $1.9 million Superdraw winner claims prize!

After six days of waiting in anticipation for someone to claim a $1.9 million prize from the weekend’s $21 Million Superdraw, a Mid-North Coast woman who purchased her Saturday Lotto ticket in Port Macquarie has finally discovered she’s a new millionaire!

The overwhelmed winner was completely unaware she’d netted $1.9 million with her unregistered ticket until she decided to ‘duck’ into the newsagent to check it this morning.

“I usually win around $13 on Saturday Lotto so this is a big difference!” the emotional winner exclaimed.

“This is truly amazing! I buy a ticket in Saturday Lotto every week but I never thought I’d win something like $1.9 million! I consider any win as a bonus.

“I’ll be sharing my prize money with my family. It means we’ll be able to buy our dream home. My son has always wanted a home theatre room so now he’ll have one! Other than a new home, I’d really like a new car.”

The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

NSW Lotteries always recommends customers register their entries to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card as it ensures their prize is secure and we can contact them directly with news of a big win.

The division one winning 6-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Settlement City Newsagency, Shop 17 in Settlement City Shopping Centre in Port Macquarie.

Throughout Australia, there were eleven entries that won a first division prize of $1,909,090.91 in the weekend’s $21 Million Superdraw. Along with the winning entry from Port Macquarie, there were another three division one winning entries in New South Wales, two were purchased in Queensland, and five in Victoria.

The other division one winning entries from New South Wales were purchased in Fairfield, Rockdale and Merrylands. The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3665 on Saturday 3 September 2016 were 40, 32, 36, 23, 28 and 7, with the supplementary numbers 39 and 41.

The Lott’s division one winning tally is now sitting at 76 so far this financial year, including 26 from NSW Lotteries.
