Another division one win down for Carrum Downs!

A Carrum Downs woman was blown away on the weekend when her dream of winning division one came true and she won a TattsLotto first division prize which made her exactly $200,493.60 richer.

The overwhelmed woman she said was alerted to her win after receiving an email message from Tatts on the weekend advising her to phone through about a high prize.

“I’ve always been hopeful that I’d be one of the people you hear about that are lucky enough to win division one,” the woman explained.

“So when I opened my inbox and saw I’d received an email from Tatts telling me to phone them, I was pretty sure I knew what it would be about!

“I jumped onto the results page online and sure enough I had all six numbers that were drawn on Saturday night!

“And now that I’ve phoned up Tatts and made triple-sure that it’s true, I almost still don’t believe it.

“After 30 years of playing with my same favourite numbers, they’d finally been plucked from the barrel! It was a lovely surprise!

“I’m still so surprised I think I’ll have to take a long time to settle and think about what I’ll do with my division one prize!”

The winning woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 12-game marked entry from Carrum Downs Lotto in the Carrum Downs Shopping Centre, 100 Hall Road in Carrum Downs.

This win makes the seventh division one winning ticket Carrum Downs Lotto has sold since November 2010. In 2015, Carrum Downs Lotto also sold two shares in a 12 member group syndicate which won a total division one prize of $1.2 million or more than $107k per share in TattsLotto’s $21 Million May Superdraw.

Sandra Brook is a staff member at Carrum Downs Lotto and said that the whole team was thrilled with the news of their latest division one winning customer.

“Carrum Downs Lotto has sold quite a few division one winning tickets recently, so we were just about due for another one!” Ms Brook exclaimed.

“It’s so nice to share in the excitement with our customers and know that one of them now knows what it feels like to win division one. “There are about six staff members on the floor here so we’d all love to know which one of us was the one who sold the winning ticket this time!”
