Altona North man joins millionaires circle!

A retired gentleman from Melbourne’s south-western suburb of Altona North, today woke up to the life-changing news that he had become a millionaire in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The startled man, who wishes to remain anonymous, couldn’t believe his luck when he received the dream phone call this morning to let him know that his numbers had come up.

“You’re joking? Thank you!” the amazed man exclaimed.

“I never even thought about what I’d do if I won $1 million because I guess I never really thought the day would come but it has! “I’m always more than happy with little wins since I usually have no luck at all, but I guess I can’t say that anymore!

“I’m a regular customer at Circle News & Lotto and always play my recorded favourite numbers in a System 7 entry.

“With some of my million dollar windfall I’ll take a holiday for sure and I think Europe would be a great place to start.”

Circle News & Lotto has almost come full circle since selling their last division one winning entry 354 days ago.

Mick Abdou is the owner of Circle News & Lotto, 63 The Circle in Altona East, and was thrilled to know his regular customer had won a cool $1 million.

“It’s fantastic to have another division one winning customer, particularly since it’s a regular customer of ours!” Mr Abdou exclaimed.

“We sold a division one winning entry in TattsLotto just less than one year ago on August 15 2015 to a local Altona man who planned to build an investment property with his $240,000 prize.

“We always wish all of our customers good luck and thank them for supporting their local businesses.”

In December 2012, the outlet also sold a division one winning TattsLotto ticket which won the entire Saturday night prize pool of $4 million to a local man who planned to make the announcement to his family on Christmas Day.

The Lott delivers dreams every day – there were two entries that won first division in Monday & Wednesday Lotto which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw.

Along with the winning entries from Victoria, there was one division one winning ticket sold in New South Wales.

The winning numbers in Wednesday Lotto draw 3579 on Wednesday 3 August were 12, 34, 29, 42, 23 and 15. The supplementary numbers were 31 and 3.
