$1.3 million Superdraw gold for the Gold Coast!

The Gold Lotto rainbow has delivered million dollar dreams to the Gold Coast after an entry purchased in the suburb of Biggera Waters won a $1.3 million first division prize in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto $20 Million Superdraw.

But who struck gold on the Gold Coast will remain a secret as the new millionaire has chosen to remain completely anonymous.

The division one winning 50-game QuickPick was purchased at newsXpress Harbourtown, Shop 2a in Harbourtown Shopping Centre, corner of Olsen Avenue and Brisbane Road in Biggera Waters.

Sue Probert is the owner of newsXpress Harbourtown and said she and her staff are so excited by the division one win.

“There’s been such a buzz in the store since we found out that one of our customer’s is now $1.3 million richer,” Ms Probert said.

“It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that you played a part in helping a customer realise their dream of winning Gold Lotto!

“We’ve been waiting for this first division win. It’s been nearly three years since we sold our last division one winning entry worth more than $810,000 in October 2013.

“We’d like to congratulate our millionaire customer and fingers crossed we can have a few more – maybe even this week in Oz Lotto’s $15 million draw or Thursday’s $35 million Powerball draw!”

Throughout Australia, there were 15 entries that won a first division prize of $1,333,333.34 in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto $20 Million Superdraw. Along with the winning entry from Biggera Waters, the were two other division one winning tickets sold in Queensland, five were purchased in New South Wales, three in Victoria, one in South Australia and three in Western Australia. The other Queensland division one winning entries were purchased in Maryborough and Greenbank.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3655 on Saturday 30 July 2016 were 45, 37, 40, 33, 27 and 32, with the supplementary numbers 22 and 38.
