Launceston man to go 'camping in style' after TattsLotto win!

A middle-aged man from Launceston is set to up-the-ante on his camping getaways after his online entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw won a division one share worth $683,262.28.

The excited man, a hospital worker and self-proclaimed camping enthusiast, was thrilled to know he would now have more time to do the things he loves.

“Wow! Thank you - that is unbelievable news! Retirement here I come!” the man exclaimed.

“First thing I’ll do is pay off my mortgage and help my kids with their home deposits. After that, they’ll still be a bit of change left over to allow me to work part-time and retire sooner!

“I love camping! I have a special spot that I always like to go to, but now it can be even better. I can buy the little extras like a little fridge instead of using an ice box!

“I’ve been lusting after a camping trailer but the one I really love is fairly pricey so it just wasn’t even on the cards before – now, it’s a done deal!

“No more fumbling around the house pulling out all the gear to pack every time. I’ll just hook up the trailer and drive away!”

The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his System 7 TattsLotto entry online via thelott.com.

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division prize of $683,262.28 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

Along with the winning entry from Tasmania, there were three winning entries sold in Victoria, and one each sold in New South Wales and Queensland. The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3639 on Saturday 4 June 2016 were 26, 38, 27, 43, 12 and 3, with the supplementary numbers 44 and 16.
