Looking for Liverpool's Wednesday Lotto millionaire!

If only a Wednesday Lotto player from this week’s draw had registered their entry to a Players Club card they could have spent the last day planning a weekend of celebrations after winning a first division prize of $1 million!

Instead of delivering the dream-come-true news on Thursday morning, NSW Lotteries officials now have to wait for the division one winner who purchased their entry in the Sydney suburb of Liverpool to check their ticket and realise they’re one of the state’s newest millionaires!

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Belinda McDougall said just imagine how the winner’s plans for this weekend could have changed if they’d already been told they’d won a $1 million first division prize in Wednesday Lotto!

“As the division one winner has yet to come forward to NSW Lotteries and claim their prize, chances are they’re going about their Friday unaware they’re a millionaire,” Ms McDougall said.

“As the winning ticket was not registered to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, we have no way of contacting the winner with the news of their $1 million division one win.

“We’re urging anyone who purchased an unregistered ticket in this week’s Wednesday Lotto draw in Liverpool to check it immediately because they could be our missing millionaire!

“Anyone who believes they are holding the division one winning ticket should keep it in a safe place and contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 as soon as possible.”

The division one winning Wednesday Lotto entry was purchased at Liverpool Newsagency, Shop 249 in Westfield Liverpool shopping centre, Macquarie Street in Liverpool.

Across Australia, it was the only entry that won division one in Wednesday Lotto which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw.

The winning numbers in Wednesday Lotto draw 3561 on Wednesday 1 June 2016 were 14, 15, 29, 36, 12 and 35, with the supplementary numbers 13 and 2.
