Holding out hope for Beaconsfield's TattsLotto winner!

A little more than one month ago, an unregistered TattsLotto ticket purchased in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburb of Beaconsfield won a division one prize worth more than $572,000 – trouble is, the mystery winner is yet to claim their prize!

Whoever purchased the winning entry in TattsLotto draw 3635 on Saturday 21 May 2016 could be living the division one dream by now, if only they’d check their ticket and discover the good news.

Tatts spokesperson Claire Taylor said Tatts is holding out hope that they’ll hear from Beaconsfield’s mystery winner any day now.

“We’re hoping we can tweak the winners’ memory with this question – Do you remember purchasing an entry from Beaconsfield Village Lotto in TattsLotto draw 3635 on Saturday 21 May?” Ms Taylor questioned.

“If so, it’s time to pull out any old tickets stashed in wallets and handbags or stuck to the fridge and check them as soon as possible!

“If you believe you are holding the division one winning entry, we recommend you keep your ticket in a safe place and contact Tatts immediately on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.

“If you have misplaced the ticket, all is not lost! Tatts has a process available for customers who cannot produce the winning ticket which determines if they are the rightful winner of the prize.

“We’d love to hear from you and reunite you with your division one prize!”

Ms Taylor reminded customers of the importance of registering their entries to a Tatts Card.

“Tatts always recommends customers register their entries to a Tatts Card as it ensures their prize is secure and we can contact them directly with news of a big win,” Ms Taylor explained.

“In the case of Beaconsfield’s division one winning entry, Tatts has no way of contacting the unregistered ticket holder so we are waiting to hear from them.”

Frank Mortaruolo is the owner of Beaconsfield Village Lotto, Shop 16 in the Beaconsfield Village Shopping Centre, and said he hopes the winner will eventually walk back through his doors.

“I’ve been spreading the great news to all of my customers that our shop sold a division one winning TattsLotto prize worth more than $572,000 and I’ll do so until I’m blue in the face!” Mr Mortaruolo laughed.

“It’s great to know that another one of my customers has had their numbers come up but we’re still waiting for them to come in to the outlet and check their ticket!”

Mr Mortaruolo said Beaconsfield Village Lotto was no stranger to selling division one winning entries with seven customers taking out first division over the past 13 years.

“The biggest division one prize won with an entry purchased from my shop was a $15 million Powerball prize in November 2012, which was split between a syndicate of eight factory co-workers in Dandenong,” he exclaimed.

“Then just five months later in April 2012, a local couple from Beaconsfield won more than $660,000 in TattsLotto division one prize money with another entry purchased at our shop.

“I hope our latest mystery division one winner will soon join our other happy customers in claiming their first division prize money, and that we can keep adding to our division one tally!”

Throughout Australia, there were seven entries that each won a division one share worth $572,766.07 in TattsLotto draw 3635 on Saturday 21 May.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3635 on Saturday 21 May were 13, 39, 11, 14, 5 and 37. The supplementary numbers were 12 and 32.
