The stars aligned for Dandenong's Monday Lotto millionaire!

A man from Melbourne’s south-eastern suburb of Dandenong has million dollar stars in his eyes, after his online entry in last night’s Monday Lotto draw won a division one prize worth more than $1 million.

The elated winner who works at a public school in Victoria was completely unaware of his new found fortune until a Tatts official contacted him today with the life-changing news.

“Shut up! Holy moly! I’m really trying not to swear right now!” the shocked winner shouted.

“I don’t know what to do! Should I fall on the floor? I mean - I just became a millionaire!

“This is fantastic! There are just so many life choices possible now it’s unfathomable. This will be life-changing, it’s the opportunity for a sea change, I’m so excited!”

While the man said he wasn’t the superstitious type, he did say he has been dreaming of winning the lotto for a while and planning what he would do.

“Lately I’ve been sitting out on my deck looking up at the stars thinking ‘when are you going to align?’” he laughed.

“For a long time I have fantasised about what I would do if I won the lotto - now all of my dreams are about to come to fruition!

“My home is long overdue for a renovation make over and I’ll also take a well-deserved trip overseas!”

The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 50-game Internet Combination Monday Lotto entry online via thelott.com.

Throughout Australia, there were two entries that won first division in last night’s Monday Lotto draw, which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw. Along with the winning entry purchased in Victoria, there was one winning ticket sold in New South Wales.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3564 on Monday 13 June 2016 were 10, 30, 12, 42, 18 and 37 with the supplementary numbers of 29 and 16.
