A mystery Emu Hotel patron has won $50,000 in Keno!

Wednesday 4 May 2016 - Someone who purchased a Keno Spot 8 ticket from the Emu Hotel in Morphett Vale has won a $50,000 prize with their eight matching numbers drawn on Friday 29 April – but the winner may be completely unaware of their windfall!

Five days after the draw and SA Lotteries is still none-the-wiser as to who is the mystery holder of the unregistered Spot 8 winning Keno ticket.

SA Lotteries spokesperson Claire Taylor said SA Lotteries is encouraging anyone who purchased a Keno ticket in Morphett Vale to check their ticket as soon as possible because they could be $50,000 richer.

“Someone has scored a $50,000 prize with a Keno Spot 8 ticket purchased at the Emu Hotel! Just imagine the celebration the winner could have with that windfall!” Ms Taylor exclaimed.

“Unfortunately, as the winning ticket holder did not register their entry to an SA Lotteries Easiplay Club card we’re unable to phone them and let them in on the good news!

“That’s why SA Lotteries is encouraging Keno players who purchased a ticket in Morphett Vale to check their Spot 8 entries today.

“Anyone who believes that they have the winning Keno Spot 8 ticket should keep it in a safe place and contact SA Lotteries as soon as possible to claim their prize.”

The mystery winner purchased their ticket from the Emu Hotel, 132 Main South Road in Morphett Vale.

Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 8 top prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
