Tennant Creek man becomes TattsLotto millionaire!

A man from Tennant Creek, a small town in the Northern Territory, is a newly minted millionaire after his 50-game recorded entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw scored a division one share worth more than $1.3 million!

The elated man spent the past 48 hours completely unaware that he’d won division one and only discovered the dream-come-true news on Monday afternoon after work when a Tatts official phoned to confirm his win.

“That’s just awesome! That’s the best phone call and best news I’ve ever had!” the man exclaimed.

“I just raced home after work to log on to my Tatts.com account and check my online 50-game recorded entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw and sure enough I saw the six winning numbers there on line 47! It’s just amazing!

“I’ll be keeping this news a bit hush-hush so I’ll just be telling my family about my good fortune. There’s no doubt the news of a mystery millionaire man will get around very quickly in a small town like Tennant Creek.

“With my windfall I will pay off my house and my car and any other bills, and make some improvements around my home as well. I think a holiday is certainly on the cards!”

The new millionaire, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry online via Tatts.com.

Throughout Australia, there were three entries that each won a division one share worth $1,379,921.62 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw. Apart from the winning entry purchased in the Northern Territory, there was one winning ticket each purchased in the Victoria and New South Wales.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3637 on Saturday 28 May were 42, 35, 37, 1, 34 and 21. The supplementary numbers were 26 and 11.
