Henley Beach man cruises away with $50,000 Keno Spot 8 prize!

A man from Adelaide’s coastal suburb of Henley Beach has pocketed a $50,000 Keno Spot 8 prize, after his eight winning numbers popped up on the Keno screen at his local newsagency.

The regular customer of South Henley Newsagency said he was very excited when after purchasing his usual entries he stepped back and watched his Keno Spot 8 numbers roll across the screen.

“I put in a Keno Spot 8 entry and watched the numbers roll over the screen until I realised I had eight out of eight on my ticket!” the excited man exclaimed.

“There sure were a lot of ‘YAHOO’s in that moment I realised I’d won $50,000!

“With this windfall, I plan to take my family on a cruise ship holiday to celebrate!”

The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry from South Henley Newsagency, 47 Henley Beach Road in Henley Beach South.

Phillip Cole is the owner of South Henley Newsagency and said he was thrilled for his winning customer.

“We’ve sold four division one winning Saturday X Lotto entries over the years, but this is our first Keno Spot 8 win so we’re thrilled, particularly because it’s been won by one of our regular customers!” Mr Cole exclaimed.

SA Lotteries always recommends customers register their entries to a Easiplay Club card as it ensures their prize is secure and they can be contacted directly with news of a big win.
