Oz Lotto's $40 million winning entry sold in Leongatha!

Tatts is narrowing the search for Oz Lotto’s mystery $40 million jackpot prize winner, and today is releasing the next clue, the selling outlet of the unregistered division one winning entry.

The ticket with the seven winning Oz Lotto numbers on it was purchased from South Gippsland’s rural town of Leongatha from Nextra Newsagency Leongatha at 30 Bair Street.

Oz Lotto spokesperson Claire Taylor said customers of Nextra Newsagency Leongatha should not waste another minute without knowing if their ticket has won the $40 million Oz Lotto prize.

“Now the details of the selling outlet are known, it’s another clue as to who could be the $40 million Oz Lotto winning ticket holder. We have our fingers crossed that they will check their numbers and we’ll be hearing from our winner really soon!” Ms Taylor said.

Tuesday night’s $40 million Oz Lotto jackpot was the equal largest Oz Lotto jackpot offered this year.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto’s $40 million draw 1162 on Tuesday 24 May 2016 were 22, 32, 25, 11, 38, 4 and 5. The supplementary numbers were 20 and 40.

Along with the huge jackpot prize more than 704,667 prizes were won across Australia in divisions two to seven, sharing in a total prize pool of more than $14.2 million.

Oz Lotto will offer a $2 million division one prize in next week’s draw.
