The hunt continues for Newcastle's two mystery millionaires!

NSW Lotteries is still waiting for two mystery millionaires who purchased their winning entries in Newcastle to come forward and claim their first division prizes.

Where is Waratah’s first division winner?

As many people start the wind down to their weekend, NSW Lotteries is ramping up its calls for last weekend’s Saturday Lotto division one winner to come forward and claim their prize.

It’s been almost one week since the mystery winner who purchased their entry in the Newcastle suburb of Waratah scored a first division prize worth more than $2 million in Saturday Lotto draw 3633 on 14 May.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Belinda McDougall said because the division one winning Saturday Lotto ticket was not registered to NSW Lotteries Players Club card, NSW Lotteries has no way of contacting the winner to let them in on the big news that they’re a multi-millionaire!

“We’re eager to connect with the mystery first division winner and put a name to the $2 million winner,” Ms McDougall said.

“Just imagine having two million extra reasons to celebrate this weekend! Who knows with a $2 million windfall, the weekend could even be never-ending for this first division winner!

“We are encouraging customers who purchased an unregistered entry at Waratah LPO and Newsagency in last weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw to check their wallets, purses, handbags, pockets, glove boxes, drawers and even on the fridge door for the winning ticket!

“NSW Lotteries always recommends customers register their entries to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card as it ensures their prize is secure and we can contact them directly with news of a big win.

“If you have checked your Saturday Lotto entry and think you may be holding the division one winning ticket, ensure that you keep it in a safe place and contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible to begin the prize claim process,” Ms McDougall said.

Throughout Australia, there were two entries that won a first division prize of $2,038,156.43 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw. Along with the division one winning entry from New South Wales, there was one division one winning ticket sold in Victoria.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3633 on Saturday 14 May 2016 were 21, 33, 34, 4, 13 and 10, with the supplementary numbers 14 and 30.

Still no sign of Newcastle West’s $1 million Lotto winner from January!

Imagine letting your $1 million windfall sit idle for more than four months – well that’s exactly what one NSW Lotteries Saturday Lotto player has done because they didn’t register their winning ticket to a Players Club card!

The division one winning entry was purchased at Marketown Newsagency, Shop 8 in Marketown Shopping Centre in Newcastle West.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3597 on Saturday 9 January 2016 were 20, 25, 36, 30, 18 and 2, with the supplementary numbers 5 and 11.

NSW Lotteries is urging Novacastrians to check their wallets, purses, drawers and even piles of papers stacked on the kitchen bench for any forgotten Saturday Lotto tickets as they could be one of the mystery division one winners.
