St Albans - have your birthday numbers come up in Lotto?

Do the numbers 22, 13, 1, 31, 8 and 11, and 25 or 41 mean anything to you? Well for a mystery person who purchased a Wednesday Lotto ticket in St Albans in draw 3555 on Wednesday 11 May, they could now hold a lot more than sentimental value!

The Wednesday Lotto ticket that bears all six of those numbers has won a division one prize worth $1 million, however since the ticket was not registered to a Tatts Card, the winner may still be completely unaware of their new millionaire status.

Tatts spokesperson Claire Taylor said since most of the numbers drawn in Wednesday night’s draw were under 31, it’s possible that they could be meaningful birthday numbers chosen by the mystery winner.

“In my conversations with division one winners, I often find people who play a marked entry rather than a QuickPick usually choose numbers that bear some sort of significance and meaning to their life, such as family birthdays, milestones and anniversaries,” Ms Taylor explained.

“In fact, we surveyed almost 4,000 Australians and discovered that 47.1% of them would prefer to choose their own lucky numbers to play! Further, women in particular were sentimental when choosing their numbers with 55.4% compared with 38.4% of men basing their chosen numbers around special life events.

“Given Wednesday night’s numbers are mostly under 31, and therefore match dates in the calendar month, it very well could be that they are birthday or anniversary dates which are relevant to the mystery new millionaire!

“So if the winning numbers 22, 13, 1, 31, 8 and 11, or supplementary numbers 25 or 41 mean anything to you and you played them in Wednesday night’s draw, then you better check your ticket as soon as possible!

“Anyone who thinks they may be holding the winning ticket should keep it in safe place and contact Tatts as soon as possible to verify their prize!”

The division one winning entry was purchased from Winning Lotteries St Albans, 59 Alfrieda Street in St Albans.

Throughout Australia, there were four entries that won first division in Monday & Wednesday Lotto which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw. Along with two winning entries from Victoria, there was one division one winning ticket each sold in Queensland and New South Wales.

The winning numbers in Wednesday Lotto draw 3555 on Wednesday 11 May were 22, 13, 1, 31, 8 and 11. The supplementary numbers were 41 and 25.
