Salisbury pensioner scores $150,000 in Keno Spot 9!

A woman from the Salisbury area in northern Adelaide was crying tears of joy when she was told the news her registered Spot 9 Keno entry had won a $150,000 prize!

The emotional woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, was shaking with anticipation when she got a phone call from an SA Lotteries official this afternoon to break the dream-come-true news.

“Oh my goodness! Don’t tell me I’ve got nine out of nine!” the woman excitedly shouted down the phone.

“I’m shaking! $150,000….wow, OK….that’s absolutely fantastic! I’m crying now!

“This windfall means a lot when you’re on the pension! I’ve never been able to buy a brand new car so I’ll be in the market for one now!

“I’d just been out to visit a friend and when I was on my way home I thought ‘you know what I’ll just pop into the Deli and grab a few things’.

“I purchased my favourite entry which is made up of numbers I’ve had for 20 odd years – they were just randomly generated ones originally but I’ve stuck with them all this time and I’m pretty glad I did now!”

The registered Keno Spot 9 entry was purchased from Deli Express Salisbury North, 135 Whites Road in Salisbury North.

Jing Zhang is the store manager at Deli Express Salisbury North and said it was wonderful news that one of her customers had cracked a big win.

“It’s excellent to have a Keno Spot 9 win at our store and know that one of our customers is $150,000 richer!” Ms Zhang exclaimed.

“Having a big win like this is great for our business and we can’t wait to tell all our regular customers about our latest happy winner!

“Fingers crossed we can keep it up and another one of our customers has their numbers come up!”
