Two Melbourne TattsLotto prizes left waiting, wishing and wanting!

Thursday 14 April 2016 - Five days on since Saturday night’s TattsLotto draw, and there’s still no sign of two Victorian division one winning ticket holders, each set to claim a first division prize worth $585,827.68!

The weekend’s unclaimed TattsLotto bounty totals more than $1.1 million, however Tatts has no way of sharing the news with the mystery winners because the two tickets were not registered to Tatts Cards.

The two first division tickets were purchased from:

    • Mr Pickwick’s Newsagency, 348 Glenhuntly Road in Elsternwick, south-east Melbourne; and
    • Northland Lotto, Northland Shopping Centre, 2 – 50 Murray Road in Preston, northern Melbourne.

Tony Browne is the owner of Mr Pickwick’s Newsagency and said he was excited to be adding another division one winning medallion to his wall.

“It’s absolutely fantastic! This store has had a dozen division one wins in its lifetime, but this is the first win we’ve had since we took over management three and a half years ago, so it’s very exciting!” Mr Browne exclaimed.

“Can you believe one of our store syndicates was about one number off from winning the $70 million Powerball jackpot early this year, so we’re absolutely thrilled to have cracked a division one win this time!”

Richard Conacher is the owner of Northland Lotto and said it was very welcome news to have sold a division one winning ticket to one of his customers.

“This is the first division one entry I’ve sold in the two and a half years managing the store! We’ve had a couple of good syndicate wins recently but this is our biggest single division one winning entry in recent years!” Mr Conacher exclaimed.

“Fingers crossed we won’t be waiting too much longer for the winner to come forward and claim their prize!”

Tatts spokesperson Claire Taylor said the winners could be walking around completely unaware their numbers came up on the weekend and encouraged TattsLotto players to check their tickets as soon as possible.

“Any players who purchased an unregistered ticket from Elsternwick or Preston in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw are urged to check their tickets today, because they are in with a chance to be one of the missing winners we’re waiting to hear from,” Ms Taylor highlighted.

“If you think you may have the division one winning entry, we recommend you keep your ticket in a safe place and contact Tatts immediately on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process!”

Throughout Australia, there were seven entries that won a first division prize of $585,827.68 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw. There were three division one winning tickets from Victoria, and two each in Queensland and Western Australia. The other Victorian winning entry was purchased in Craigieburn and has been claimed.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3623 on Saturday 9 April 2016 were 23, 18, 41, 3, 6 and 21, with the supplementary numbers 30 and 16.
