Keno Spot 8 lightning strikes twice for Largs Bay woman!

Wednesday 30 March 2016 - A local woman from Adelaide’s north-western suburb of Largs Bay is celebrating after she realised eight of her selected numbers on her Keno Spot 8 entry matched those drawn on Monday, winning her a prize of $50,000!

The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she was surprised and grateful for the windfall since she had also won a Spot 8 prize last year.

“I was really pleased with the win! I had happy tears in my eyes both times I realised I won and I’m just as grateful the second time round!” she exclaimed.

“I treated myself to a scotch on ice as a secret celebration!

“This windfall will be a big help. My last win meant I could afford some of life’s little luxuries like a new car, airconditioning and a holiday to Sydney. This time I’ll be spending my windfall on doing some renovations around the house.

“But I’m still hopeful I might win the big one – Keno Spot 10!”

The winner purchased her winning Spot 8 entry from Largs Pier Hotel, 198 Esplanade in Largs Bay.

Louise Forster is the Gaming Manager at Largs Pier Hotel and said she was very excited to have had a Keno Spot 8 winning customer over the Easter break.

“It’s fantastic news! We’ve had a couple of players come close to the Spot 10 recently, but I don’t think the Hotel’s had a Keno win quite as high as $50,000 before! It’s very exciting!” Ms Forester said.

“It’s wonderful to hear the winner is a local and I hope she’s one of our regular lovely customers! We wish her all the best for the future.”

Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 8 top prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
