Saturday Lotto conga line surprises lunch time shoppers!

Tuesday 15 March 2016 - There were feathers flying to the beat of bongo drums in Brisbane’s CBD on Monday as a conga line of Brazilian dancers, drummers and Brisbane volunteers cha-cha-cha-ed up the Queen Street Mall in the lead up to Saturday Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw!

The colourful line-up snaked it’s way past startled and surprised Brisbane city shoppers and lunch time workers, travelling up the Mall and then forming a giant ‘21’ from the conga line participants in Reddacliff Place.

Tatts Lotteries spokesperson Claire Taylor said the conga line had taken visitors in the Mall by storm and helped to get everyone warmed up for Saturday Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw coming up on Saturday 19 March.

“It’s a wrap! Well done to all the people who jumped into the conga line and practised their winner’s dance moves ahead of the $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw this Saturday!” Ms Taylor exclaimed.

“The conga line was quite the sight for shoppers and workers taking a break from their desks with Brazilian dancers, bongo drummers and even maraca shakers adorned in colourful costumes, features and masks snaking their way up the Mall.

“Keep an eye out for the festive footage and photographs that will feature in Saturday Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw digital campaign, you may even see someone you recognise in the flurry of feathers!

“If you missed out joining the conga line but still want to be part of the action, you can connect with friends, family or colleagues to share a syndicate entry into the Superdraw! Your conga crew may end up cha-cha-cha-ing all the way to the bank!” she said.

“Avoid the conga queues and get in early to purchase your ticket in Saturday Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw from your local lottery retailer or online from for your chance to kick on the festivities!”
