Gold Lotto's $21 Million Superdraw conga line call!

Friday 11 March 2016 - Calling all conga line talent! Golden Casket is looking for 100 enthusiastic Brisbane adults to link up to a festive conga line in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall in the lead up to Saturday Gold Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw!

The conga line will take place on Monday 14 March kicking off at 12:30pm at the Edward Street end of Queen Street Mall outside the City Mall Newsagency kiosk.

Golden Casket spokesperson Claire Taylor said the conga line would be a fun way for Brisbane city workers to shake off the Monday blues and spice up their lunch break.

“If you’re seeking your five seconds of fame, follow the sound of maracas and bongo drums to the Queen Street Mall and link up to Gold Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw conga line!” Ms Taylor exclaimed.

“The conga line will snake its way up Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall and form a giant ‘21’ formation in Reddacliff Place which will be filmed for use in a digital campaign.

“Even adults with two left feet are welcome to join the party; there’s no dancing or acting experience required just a winning smile and a fun attitude!

“In a recent survey, 13.6% of people said they would celebrate winning a share in the lottery with a happy dance, so it’s not too late to start practising your winner’s moves!”

Ms Taylor said Gold Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw would take place on Saturday 19 March 2016 so there was still plenty of time to buy an entry.

“If you can’t make it to join the city’s conga line, you can still connect with friends, family or colleagues to share a syndicate entry into the Superdraw! Your conga crew may end up cha-cha-cha-ing all the way to the bank!” she said.

“Avoid the conga queues and get in early to purchase your ticket in Saturday Gold Lotto’s $21 Million Carnivale Superdraw from any Golden Casket outlet or online from for your chance to kick on the festivities!”

*Must be over 18 to participate. This event will be filmed on behalf of Golden Casket Lottery Corporation Ltd and footage may be used for ongoing promotional activities.
