Keno Spot 8 winners from St Agnes strapped for words!

Monday 29 February 2016 - A couple from St Agnes are still in shock and strapped for words after all eight numbers on their $2 Keno Spot 8 ticket were drawn on Friday afternoon, winning them a prize worth $100,000!

The happy pair said they were still in shock when they spoke with a SA Lotteries official on Monday.

“It’s a massive surprise, but a very pleasant one! We’re thrilled! It’s unbelievable!” the woman exclaimed.

“When I checked my numbers I originally anticipated the prize would be around the $5,000 mark, which was already amazing, but then to realise it was actually $100,000 was mind-blowing!

“We haven’t quite come to terms with our win yet but it really will mean quite a dramatic change in our lives.

“This prize will help us out as far as planning bigger and better things for our future.

“We’re still quite shocked and strapped for words, but the bottom line is that it’s taken the pressure right off.”

The couple are still considering their plans for their Keno Spot 8 windfall and wish to remain anonymous.

They purchased the winning ticket from St Agnes Newsagency, Shops 36 & 37 St Agnes Shopping Centre, 1244 North East Road in St Agnes.

Lee Garrick is the owner of St Agnes Newsagency and said he was thrilled that their customers had taken out a Spot 8 windfall.

“Congratulations to our winning customers and we wish them every happiness with their Keno Spot 8 prize!” Mr Garrick exclaimed.

“It’s lovely to see the windfall go to locals and of course customers of our very own!”

Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 8 top prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
