Wetherill Park division one winner set to own his castle!

Wednesday 24 February 2016 - The Australian dream of owning your own home will become a reality for a Sydney man from the western suburbs after he discovered his Saturday Lotto entry scored a division one prize worth more than $320,000!

The excited winner in his 60s said he can’t wait to pay off his mortgage and own his home after winning a first division share in the weekend’s draw.

“I’m going to be mortgage free!” the winner exclaimed.

“I’m so happy that my numbers finally came up! I picked my favourite numbers about twenty years ago and until the weekend’s draw, I think the most I ever won was about $100! This is incredible!

“It hasn’t sunk in yet that I’ve actually won first division but I’m planning to have a quiet celebration with family!”

The winning 10-game marked entry was purchased at Tobacco Station, Shop 6B in Greenway Plaza, 1183 The Horsley Drive in Wetherill Park.

David Carr is the owner of Tobacco Station in Wetherill Park and is happy to be celebrating selling another division one winning entry.

“We’ve had a few division one winning customers over the years but it had been a little while since the last one,” Mr Carr said.

“We moved into a new store in the centre about eight months ago so maybe the new location brought us some good luck!

“Now that we’ve had this division one win so early in the year, we’re hoping for some more in 2016. We’d really like to sell a big jackpot prize and surprise some of our customers!”

Throughout Australia, there were thirteen entries that won a first division prize of $320,223.98 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw. There were five division one winning tickets sold in New South Wales, two winning entries were purchased in Queensland, and three each in Victoria and Western Australia. The other winning entries in New South Wales were sold in Sydney’s CBD, Wentworth Falls, Galdesville and Hornsby.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3609 on Saturday 20 February 2016 were 30, 5, 17, 22 42 and 26, with the supplementary numbers 19 and 36.
