• The family, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their division one winning ticket from Langwarrin Lotto, Shop 11, South Gateway, 230 Cranbourne-Frankston Road, Langwarrin.

• Only one month earlier, Langwarrin Lotto set up a store syndicate that won a $5 million division one prize in Oz Lotto.

 

A family from Melbourne’s semi-rural suburb of Langwarrin are still trying to digest the unbelievable news that their shared entry won a TattsLotto division one prize on Christmas Eve worth more than $757,000!

After taking some time to get their head around their dream-come-true division one windfall, they came forward to Tatts to claim their prize.

“We’re still trying to digest this! It’s amazing!” the woman exclaimed.

“We play together on special occasions and given the draw was on Christmas Eve, we decided to get an entry to get an entry to share on Christmas day.

“But you never imagine you’ll have a win this substantial. You just never even contemplate a division one win! We’re all gobsmacked!

“I didn’t even choose special numbers, it was just a QuickPick – so it was a true fluke!

“With the prize we’ll sort out the mortgage, go on a family holiday, and a do few renovations here and there.”

The family, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their 50-game QuickPick entry from Langwarrin Lotto, Shop 11, South Gateway, 230 Cranbourne-Frankston Road, Langwarrin.

Stephen Dall’Oste is the owner of Langwarrin Lotto and now has double the reason to celebrate, after also setting up a division one winning Oz Lotto syndicate in mid-November that shared in $5 million.

“It’s incredible! That’s two division one winning tickets sold at Langwarrin Lotto within four weeks!” Mr Dall’Oste exclaimed.

“Everyone has been very excited and news of the unregistered winning ticket has everyone talking!

“But good things do come in threes, so who knows, we may just be on a roll and sell another division one winning entry before the years out in the $31 Million New Year’s Eve Megadraw!”

 

One Christmas Eve TattsLotto windfall still under wraps!

There’s still one division one winning TattsLotto ticket worth $757,320.06 from the weekend’s TattsLotto draw on Christmas Eve - but the winners may still not know their TattsLotto wish was granted on Saturday night!

The outstanding division one winning ticket was purchased from Arena Lucky Lotto in Officer.

Tatts is urging anyone who purchased a TattsLotto ticket in the weekend’s draw from Officer to check their entries to see if they are the missing TattsLotto winner we’re waiting for.

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division prize of $757,320.06 in TattsLotto draw 3697 on Saturday 24 December 2016.

Along with the winning entries purchased in Langwarrin, Office and Ringwood, there was one each purchased from Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

The six winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3697 on Saturday 24 December which were 39, 24, 5, 9, 34 and 4. The supplementary numbers were 15 and 29.

The Lott’s division one winning entry tally has now reached 202 so far this financial year, including 80 won by Tatts customers.
