Cabramatta makes a brand-new Monday Lotto millionaire!

Someone who purchased a ticket in the Monday Lotto draw held on Boxing Day from the south-western Sydney suburb of Cabramatta has finally unwrapped their $1 million division one prize!

The new millionaire is a registered player however has chosen to remain completely anonymous while they enjoy their new found fortune.

NSW Lotteries can reveal that the mysterious winner purchased a Pick 5 marked entry from Mitchum News.

Mitchum News recently relocated and just reopened at their new location; Shop 27 in Dutton Plaza in Cabramatta, and owner Anne Huang says she believes that luck has followed them there.

“What fantastic news for our winning customer!” Ms Huang exclaimed.

“It would make a lovely Christmas bonus and a great way to start the New Year as a millionaire!

“We’re no stranger to making millionaires – in June 2014 we set up a 25-share syndicate between our two stores that scooped the entire $25 million jackpot prize in Powerball!

“But it is great to have a brand-new winning customer! It was a lovely surprise for us because we have been so busy selling Megadraw tickets we took a while to see the message to tell us that we sold division one again!

“We relocated our shop in mid-December and just 11 days later after reopening in Dutton Plaza, we’ve made a new millionaire! It looks like our luck has followed us here!

“Fingers crossed we can do it again in the $31 Million Megadraw tomorrow night!”

Throughout Australia, there were four entries that won first division in Monday & Wednesday TattsLotto draw 3620 on Monday 26 December, which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw.

Along with the division one winning entry purchased in New South Wales, there was one division one winning entry each sold in Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.

The winning numbers were 2, 21, 9, 29, 11 and 18 with the supplementary numbers of 45 and 40.

The Lott’s division one winning entry tally has now reached 201 so far this financial year, including 58 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
