Winning smiles for Bicheno syndicate!

No doubt there are plenty of winning smiles across the east coast of Tasmania today after a 14-share store syndicate in Bicheno won division one and other divisional prizes in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw totalling $793,751.73!

In addition to the division one prize of $785,467.13, their 16-game System 7 QuickPick entry also earned the 14-share syndicate over $8,000 in other divisional prizes, making their total prize worth $793,751.73 or $56,734.11 per share.

The 14-share store syndicate was set up by Bicheno Newsagency, 41 Foster Street in Bicheno.

Simone and Michael Symons are the owners of Bicheno Newsagency and were delighted to have set up the store’s first ever division one winning entry which would be shared among many of their customers.

“It’s fabulous! It’s such an exciting time for our business and our customers!” Ms Symons exclaimed.

“It is pretty special as this is the first ever time a division one winning ticket has been sold in Bicheno for a long time, in about 30 years of the newsagency operating.

“We’ve owned the business for 14 years since 2003 and we’ve had plenty of division two winners nearly every year, but we hadn’t cracked division one until now!

“It is great news for the town, especially since it will be shared amongst our customers and it will make a big difference to many.”

Throughout Australia, there were five entries that won a division one prize of $785,463.12 in TattsLotto draw 3693 on Saturday 10 December 2016.

Along with the winning store syndicate set up by Bicheno Newsagency, there were two division one winning entries sold in Western Australia and one each in Queensland and the ACT.

The six winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3693 on Saturday 10 December were 33, 5, 34, 20, 36, and 25. The supplementary numbers were 27 and 42.

The Lott’s division one winning entry tally has now reached 187 so far this financial year, including 71 won by Tatts customers.
