Kerang woman claims TattsLotto division one windfall!

Wednesday 27 January 2016 - A TattsLotto division one prize worth more than $200,000 has finally been claimed by a woman from the town of Kerang in northern Victoria, eleven days after the draw!

The happy woman said she had just got home from a short holiday and had a hard time believing she had won a division one prize while she was away.

“It’s wonderful news isn’t it!” she exclaimed.

“I realised I had won late on Monday night when I looked up the results and the numbers on the screen looked damn familiar! Sure enough I’d won division one, and I’ve hardly slept since!

“I was shaking like a leaf thinking ‘I can’t believe it! What am I going to do?’ but now I’m just enjoying the ride!

“I’ve been playing my special numbers for more than 12 years now. They’re made up of a range of family birthdays and significant dates in my life.

“I will spend some of the money fixing up my house which needs some work!

“I won’t be reckless with it, but I’d love to travel Australia and perhaps even overseas with my family.”

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her registered division one winning System 7 marked entry from Kerang Newsagency, 19 Scoresby Street in Kerang.

Throughout Australia, there were twenty entries that won a first division prize of $207,714.12 in TattsLotto draw 3599 on Saturday 16 January 2016. Along with nine winning tickets from Victoria, four winning entries were purchased in New South Wales, two in Queensland, one in the Northern Territory and four in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3599 on Saturday 16 January 2016 were 1, 13, 22, 11, 3 and 24, with the supplementary numbers 29 and 30.
