Ferntree Gully woman screams ‘FAIR DINKUM?’

A woman from Melbourne’s eastern suburb of Ferntree Gully was ‘giddy with nerves’ when a Tatts official broke the news that she’d won a division one share in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

“You’re kidding! FAIR DINKUM? You’re not lying?” the woman screamed.

“I can’t believe that! I’m giddy with nerves! I’m shaking like a leaf!

“Never in my lifetime did I ever think we’d win division one.

“Wait one minute; I’ve gotta run outside and tell my husband!

“Hun, you know those missed calls I’ve been getting – it’s Tatts! We won TattsLotto!” she exclaimed to her husband.

“We’ll pay the house off which means we can take it a bit easier and we might even go on a holiday. We’ve always wanted to tour around Australia!

“I’ll sleep well tonight,” she laughed.

The winning woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her registered 12-game marked entry from Mountain Gate Newsagency, Shop 9B, Mountain Gate Shopping Centre on Ferntree Gully Road.

Vivien Xu is the owner of Mountain Gate Newsagency and said she was thrilled to have sold a division one winning ticket to one of her local customers.

“We sold a division one winning entry in TattsLotto in March last year worth $1.4 million to a private syndicate of seven customers who had been playing TattsLotto together for about eight years!” Ms Xu exclaimed.

“So we are very excited to have another division one win less than one year later!

“We wish our division one winning customer a warm congratulations.”

Collingwood man wins division one… AGAIN!

A man from Collingwood has had division one lightning strike again after winning a share in the weekend’s TattsLotto first division prize pool with a System 11 marked entry.

“I must confess I’ve won division one a couple of times before in syndicates but this is the first time I’ve done it with my own ticket,” the winning man explained.

“I was pleasantly surprised to win division one!

“I played my regular numbers but I decided to change things around and took out one number and added a couple more to play a bigger systems type entry.

“I’m looking after my parents so some of the prize money will go to them.”

The Collingwood man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his division one winning entry from Golden Dollar Lotto, 330 Smith Street in Collingwood.

Thi Doan is the owner of Golden Dollar Lotto and said she was so happy to sell another division one winning ticket.

“We set up a division one winning group syndicate in the TattsLotto $21 Million Superdraw in August 2014 which won $2.6 million and was shared between 36 happy customers!” Ms Doan explained.

“It’s wonderful news to have another winning customer enjoying a division one windfall.

“We’re hoping to have a big 2016 and sell another one for Chinese New Year!”
