After 24 days Traralgon’s $750,000 TattsLotto win is claimed!

Tuesday 29 September 2015 - For almost a month the Gippsland community has been holding its breath waiting to hear if the three-quarters-of-a-million dollar Traralgon prize from TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw had been claimed.

Today the mystery winner, who is a Traralgon local, came forward to Tatts with their unregistered System 10 marked entry which won division one and other divisional prizes totalling $773,043.30!

The local winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, realised they had won late on the night of the draw when they checked online and recognised their favourite numbers.

“When I saw the numbers I knew straight away they were mine, but I’d left my ticket outside in my car door!” the winner exclaimed.

“I quickly retrieved the ticket and double checked it, and I’ve carried it with me ever since!

“It’s been a little daunting, but I’ve had time to think about what I’ll do with the windfall now and it definitely will allow me to live more comfortably!”

The winner purchased their unregistered TattsLotto ticket from Traralgon Newsagency and Lotto, 51-53 Franklin Street in Traralgon.

Gary and Cheryl Garth are the owners of Traralgon Newsagency and Lotto and said they were very happy to hear that the winner had finally come forward.

“It’s great to know the prize has gone to a Traralgon local! We’re so pleased the winner has come forward to claim their division one windfall, even if it took them a little while!” Mr Garth said.

“It’s our very first division one win since we took over management of this newsagency in February this year, so it’s not a bad result in just seven months! However it’s not quite the first ever for the store - the previous owners sold a division one winning TattsLotto ticket in 2012 worth more than $832,800!

“We’re now hoping that our lucky newsagency will bring us another happy division one winner very soon!”

There were 28 division one winning entries across Australia who each collected a share worth $750,000.00 in TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw. Along with nine winning entries sold in Victoria, there were six winning tickets sold in New South Wales, five in Queensland, and eight in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw 3561 on Saturday 5 September 2015 were 13, 37, 27, 42, 31 and 5. The supplementary numbers were 18 and 30.
