Hampton Park's Monday Lotto $1 million is 'heaven sent'!

Tuesday 29 September 2015 - We have a winner! After a week of wondering who might be Hampton Park’s new millionaire, the unregistered winner came forward to Tatts late yesterday to claim their first division prize.

The division one winning entry in Monday Lotto draw 3488 on 21 September won a first division prize of $1 million, however because the entry was unregistered, Tatts had to wait for the winner to turn up!

A woman from Narre Warren has come forward as the happy winner and said she was blown away by the windfall.

“Wow, wow, wow! I just keep saying wow! It’s so hard for it all to register!” the woman exclaimed.

“This win has come at the best time possible. Just when you think you’re at your lowest and then this strike of luck comes along. It’s got to be heaven sent!

“And I have a feeling this is just the beginning of good things to come!”

The winning 14-game marked entry was purchased in Melbourne’s south-east suburb of Hampton Park at Sporting Chance, Shop 6 in Hampton Park Central, on the corner of Somerville and Hallam Roads.

Sharon Bunting is the owner of Sporting Chance and said it was a wonderful feeling to have made such a big impact on somebody’s life.

“There’s a real sense of excitement in our store ever since we sold a division one prize,” Ms Bunting said.

“To think we have been a part of changing someone’s lifestyle and that it will help not just them but their family as well is a truly great feeling.”

Tatts encourages players to register all of their lottery purchases to a Tatts Card.

Throughout Australia, it was the only entry that won a first division prize in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3488, which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3488 on Monday 21 September 2015 were 26, 5, 40, 25, 18 and 15, with the supplementary numbers 3 and 12.
