Victoria claims the lion's share in TattsLotto division one wins!

Monday 28 September 2015 - There were five division one winners in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, with Victorian players taking out four of the first division prizes totalling more than $3.29 million, or $823,417.86 each!

The four victorious Victorian entries were purchased from Yarrawonga, Knoxfield, Mount Waverley and online at Tatts.com.

There was also a Victorian winner from Preston who won $505,205.25 in Super 66, an add-on game that can be played with TattsLotto, Monday and Wednesday Lotto, Oz Lotto, Powerball and The Pools!

Retired couple in the market for a home!

A husband and wife from a town south of the Murray River will be much more comfortable in retirement after discovering their 12-game marked entry in TattsLotto had won a division prize of more than $823,000!

The happy couple purchased their registered winning entry from Yarrawonga Authorised Newsagency at 81 Belmore Street in Yarrawonga.

The couple, who wish to remain anonymous, both jumped on the phone line when a Tatts Official phoned them this morning to confirm the good news.

“I checked my numbers in the paper yesterday morning and saw that a fair few were matching up!” the winning man exclaimed.

“I said to the wife, ‘Holy hell! I think we’ve won TattsLotto, can you check these numbers for me?’

“Oh dear, this win has been a long time coming! We’re currently renting, so it will be truly lovely to be able to buy a home!”

Cheryl Payet is the owner of Yarrawonga Authorised Newsagency and said it was wonderful news to have finally sold a division one winning ticket.

“It’s been a long while in the making, but we needed a boost for the area and it’s finally here with our store’s recent division one win,” Ms Payet said.

“It just goes to show, you can win at any time in your life!”

Online player packs up and heads home!

One division one winner from Melbourne’s eastern suburbs purchased his Pick 5 entry online at Tatts.com and picked up $872,124.11 in division one and other divisional prize money.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he was out on the job when he received the dream-come-true call from a Tatts Official on this morning.

“I’m out in the middle of no-where but it’s a beautiful day. So are you going to be giving me the news that I can pack up and go home?” the man laughed.

“Oh my god! Are you serious? That’s awesome! I can buy a house and take a holiday to Europe!”

Knoxfield win creates a stir!

A division one winning entry purchased in Melbourne’s eastern suburb of Knoxfield has caused quite a buzz in the local community.

The registered 12-game marked entry which won a first division prize of $823,417.86 was purchased from Knoxfield Authorised Newsagency, at 1597 Ferntree Gully Road in Knoxfield.

Alan Zhou is the owner of Knoxfield Authorised Newsagency and said that customers had been lining up on Sunday morning to check their tickets.

“After the news of the division one TattsLotto win at our newsagency on the weekend, there has been a steady stream of customers coming in to check their tickets,” Mr Zhou said.

“We are very happy for our lucky winner and wish them the best with their prize!”

The registered winner came forward on Monday morning to claim their prize and wishes to remain completely anonymous. Riches land in Mount Waverley!

A division one ticket that was purchased in Mount Waverley scored a division one prize worth more than $823,444.86, however the winner may be completely unaware of their TattsLotto windfall!

Tatts is endeavouring to get in contact with the registered winner to let them in on the news they’ve won a first division prize!

The 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased from Mt Waverley Lotto at 275 Stephensons Road in Mount Waverley.

Buntheang Tan is the owner of Mt Waverley Lotto and said it was very exciting to sell a division one winning entry.

“Just last weekend we sold a division two winning TattsLotto entry, and last year we sold division one winning group syndicate shares, but it’s very special to finally have a division one winner of our own!” Mr Tan exclaimed.

“We congratulate the winner and hope they continue to bring our store good luck!”

Grandmother from Preston wins Super 66!

A grandmother in her 80’s from Preston said it has been ‘all smiles’ since she discovered she’d won more than $505,000 in Super 66.

“When the results came up on the television, I just couldn’t believe it! I put it at the back of my mind until I could go in and check it!” she exclaimed.

“The next day I went into the newsagency to double check my entry and the staff were all smiling so I think they must have guessed I was the winner, and when it turned out to be true, I think they were happier than me!” she laughed.

“My children have been so happy for me too – ecstatic in fact!

“I’ll be sharing my prize money between my children who are all grown up now. I don’t think they could love me much more than they already do. I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like but they never ever forget a birthday or a special occasion, and they’re always telling me to spend my money on myself.”

The happy grandmother, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her add-on Super 66 game from Plenty Luck News & Lotto, Shop 7, 50 Plenty Road in South Preston.

Hock Ang is the owner of Plenty Luck News & Lotto and said he was very happy for the winner who had always been a loyal and friendly customer.

“We are all over the moon for our lucky winner and wish her all the best with her winnings,” Mr Ang said.

“Last year we were lucky enough to set up two division one winning syndicates! The first was a 10-share group syndicate in February that won more than $2 million in the $20 million Superdraw, and the second was a 12-share group syndicate that won more than $892,000 in TattsLotto in June.

“But this Super 66 win is our first division one winner this year so hopefully we’re on a roll now and there’s even more to come!”

Throughout Australia, there were five entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 26 September, each worth $823,417.86. Along with the four division one winning entries from Victoria, there was won division one winning entry sold in New South Wales.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3567 on Saturday 26 September were 22, 17, 26, 5, 13 and 12. The supplementary numbers were 4 and 44.

There was one division one winning entry in Super 66 worth $505,205.25. The single winning entry was sold in South Preston, Victoria.
