After five weeks the final $4 million Oz Lotto share is snapped up!

Thursday 24 September 2015 - For five weeks one of Darwin’s five syndicate members who scored a first division share worth $20 million in Oz Lotto on Tuesday 18 August, was completely unaware an amazing $4 million share belonged to him!

The final syndicate member has finally come forward to Tatts to claim his life-changing, multi-million dollar prize!

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he travels a lot with his work so he had no idea that the syndicate entry he purchased from Bardens Pharmacy in Darwin had hit the jackpot.

“I had absolutely no idea I’d won!” the man exclaimed to a Tatts official.

“I checked my tickets through the machine and had another win of about $15, and now I’m talking to you about $4 million! I never expected this!

“I’ll be able to retire and be at home with my family. It’s the little things like being able to take them to and from school that will really be life-changing.”

The five-member store syndicate in the $60 million Oz Lotto jackpot draw on Tuesday 18 August, was set up by Bardens Pharmacy, Shop 1, 47 Cavenagh Street in Darwin.

Tatts reminds customers of the importance of registering their tickets to a player’s card as it ensures their prizes are secure and they can be contacted with news of a division one win.
